Mariska Hargitay Honored with Distinguished Alumni Award

Mariska Hargitay (Law & Order SVU) was honored with the UCLA Distinguished Alumni Award at the 2011 UCLA School of Theater, Film And Television Commencement at UCLA Campus on June 10, 2011 in Westwood, California. Here are photos from this event, which also include Senator Barbara Boxer, Dean Teri Schwartz, Provost Scott Waugh, Chair of Theater Michael Hackett and Director Charles Burnett. She is so beautiful, which just goes to show that graduation gowns are terribly unflattering to everyone. I am thinking somewhere there needs to be a redesign?!
