Eric Bogosian Opens In “Time Stands Still”

Eric Bogosian is certainly not standing still in life after Law & Order Criminal Intent. As I reported last October, Eric will be starring in “Time Stands Still,” a Manhattan Theatre production by Donald Margulies, which began previews on January 5 at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre . This is Eric’s Broadway acting debut. The show will open on January 28, 2010 and runs through March 14, 2010. It also stars Laura Linney, Alicia Silverstone, and Brian d'Arcy James.

“Time Stands Still” is described as a “story of Sarah and James, a photographer and a journalist, who have been together for nine years and share a passion for documenting the realities of war. When injuries force them to return home to New York, the adventurous couple confronts the prospect of a more conventional life.”

The Samuel J. Friedman Theatre is located at 261 West 47th Street, New York, NY. More information on this production can be found at this link: Manhattan Theatre Club “Time Stands Still”

I first fell in love with Eric Bogosian when I saw him on "Talk Radio." I was under the impression "Talk Radio" was a Broadway play before it hit the big screen. In any event, I am very happy for Eric. As much as I loved seeing him on LOCI, his talents were really wasted.

Hope I will get an opportunity to travel to NYC and see his new show.

When Talk Radio first opened in 1987, it was off-Broadway. When it had its "revival" on Broadway, Eric didn't star in it. So "Time Stands Still" will be his first Broadway acting gig!

Thanks for clearing up the confusion. Much snow up your way? That's a rhetorical question by the way.

Stay safe and warm.

I just got an ad for this play in the mail, with the same poster as you have posted here. Good luck to Eric B, but I have to say that if it was Vincent D'Onofrio in this play, I'd be taking advantage of the special offer!
