Julianne Nicholson To Appear in “THIS”

Playwrights Horizons has just informed me that Julianne Nicholson (Law & Order Criminal Intent) is acting in a great new play called “THIS” from November 6-December 13. Here are the details from Playwright’s Horizons:

L&O's Julianne Nicholson will appear in the World Premiere of Obie Award winner Melissa James Gibson's play THIS at renowned Off-Broadway theater Playwrights Horizons from November 6-December 13, 2009.

In THIS, Ms. Nicholson plays Jane, a promising poet without a muse, a single mother without lessons to pass along. Her dating life’s a shambles, and her helpful friends are only helping make things more complicated. This bright, witty, un-romantic comedy captures the uncertain steps of a circle of friends backing their way into middle age.

Directed by Daniel Aukin, Ms. Nicholson is joined onstage by Louis Cancelmi, Tony Award nominee Eisa Davis (Passing Strange), Glenn Fitzgerald ("Dirty Sexy Money"), and Darren Pettie.

To obtain discount tickets to THIS, order by November 18 with code THGR and all seats are just $40 (reg. $65) for performances Nov. 6-15 and $50 (reg. $65) for perfs. Nov. 17-Dec. 13.
