A few weeks ago, I almost got whiplash when I saw many conflicting news stories saying that Chris Noth (Law & Order and L&O Criminal Intent) was engaged – then he wasn’t, then he was - well, you get the idea.I am so glad I held off saying anything until the news came from a more credible source. This time, it has. The “Big” man himself told Entertainment Tonight Canada that he and long time partner Tara Wilson are, in fact, engaged. Chris met Canadian-born Tara while she was working at his now defunct New York City restaurant and bar, "The Cutting Room." They also have a son, Orion, who is almost two years old.
Congratulations to both of them!

Thanks for confirming this Chris. I too read all of the conflicting reports several weeks ago and I was waiting for a reliable source to clear up the confusion.
Tara is one lucky woman. Chris Noth is a gorgeous man!
REALLY?? I thought he was already married...anyway...good for him and VERY GOOD for her.
