Tamara Tunie (Law & Order SVU) was one of 7 inductees (6 individuals and one family) into the 2008 Steel Valley Hall of Fame on November 14, 2008. Tamara was a graduate of Steel Valley High School, which is located in Homestead, PA.The Hall of Fame is a joint effort of three Steel Valley nonprofit organizations: The Best of the Batch Foundation, the Munhall-based Carnegie Library of Homestead, and the I-TEAM, or Ironmen Technology Enrichment Academics Mentoring organization. These groups collectively honor current and former Steel Valley residents who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in the arts, sciences, business, sports and community service.
