Several sources are reporting that Chris Meloni (Law & Order SVU) is using his own hard earned money to option David Vann's short story collection "Legends of a Suicide.” Reports are that Chris will direct, produce and star in the film, plus write the first draft. The story is about a difficult relationship between a boy and his Alaskan father, which leads up to the parent's suicide.
On a lighter note, happy birthday to Chris, who turns 49 today!
