Law & Order Criminal Intent Fans Mount Letter Writing Effort

I’ve been alerted that fans of Law & Order Criminal Intent from the CriminalIntent.US form and the Criminal Intent Forum on USA Network’s web site. are leading an effort to write messages to NBCU management to outline their objections to the exits of show stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Kathryn Erbe, and Eric Bogosian.

You can head over to these links on the forums for details:

The volume of emails that I am receiving on this issue is astounding. Most of them cite their upset with D’Onofrio’s exit. After all, this series began with D’Onofrio at the helm and with Robert Goren’s idiosyncrasies being critical to the resolution of the crime. When I first reported this event as a “disturbance in the Law & Order Criminal Intent force,” I think it is now better defined as a 10.0 earthquake. An effort to express your feelings directly to the network is probably the best way for fans to get their feelings to those that can affect change.

Thanks for posting this! I just saw it now. I happen to have a whole bunch of picture postcards I had printed for myself and I'd be happy to dash some off to USA network in support of Vincent and Kathryn!

You never know, it worked for Star Trek (also an NBC show).

I'm firing a note off myself, but I feel it will be for naught. The deal is done for VDO. Hopefully, they will rethink Erbe because she is sensational. It makes no sense to bring in Saffron Burrows (an unknown in the LAO universe) and let go Erbe who is very well liked, I dare say loved by the fan base of this show. It's like they want this show to fail.
